Versace's Second Collection for H&M goes live!

Versace's cruise line collection for H&M is now being sold online!I've had a look and these are my picks which will be great for a holiday...
£39.99
Bikini, £24.99

Shorts, £24.99

Shirt, £19.99
Those are my faves and they are very affordable especially when they are all designed by Versace.
I love how the gap is getting closer between high street and top notch designers with such collaborations, I hope to see more of them!

What are your faves from the Cruise line collection?

Da Vinci, A fashion designer?

The sketch above is an actual design by Leonardo Da Vinci, the same Da Vinci who painted the Mona Lisa and constructed ideas for helicopters, parachutes and submarines!Who would have thought he had intentions of being a fashion house of sorts?

There were only fragments of the sketch and scholars managed to put the pieces together to come up with a clean and clear sketch as seen above. Gherardini, a luxury fashion house from Florence brought this sketch to life by manufacturing it as a calfskin bag called Pretiosa which means Precious.

Apparently Mr Da Vinci designed various fashion accessories, I can't wait to see what will crop up from him again.

There are only 99 bags at the moment and they will be on sale at Gherardini boutiques at the beginning of March. I can only imagine the price.

Versace for Hennes and Mauritz

If you haven't had the chance to lay your hands on Versace's collaboration with H&M, fret not!The new collection will be out in a few weeks!Yeap, a second collection!

The new Cruise line collection for H&M is a must have for your holiday wardrobe, here's some of what's in store for all of us!

Absolutely love this one.

The collection features a plain tank top that would go well with bits of the rest of the collection like how this model is styled.

The men's collection feature's Versace's iconography

Theres quite a repetition of this print

Men's shirt with Versace's iconography

This looks like a classic Versace and I'm glad they've included this in H&M's affordable collection.

This collection is based on Versace's Inaugural collection in 2001. Many would realise that many of the women's designs features pretty motifs of berries and butterflies. There is quite a repetition there but at least you have a selection of the same design on tops, dresses, bikinis, belts, shoes, etc. as this print seems to be the signature design of the woman's collection.

Keep your eyes peeled! Its not long till the collection goes live online!

Let's Predict Fashion's Future- Spring/Summer 2011 Part 7

Trend #7: Masculine Tailor Wear

Sloppy formal wear is the way to go with Michael Kors

This ensemble by Dries Van Noten is more feminine with a cinched in waist.

In my opinion, I embrace feminity in fashion but mixing it with a tinge of masculinity does give an edgy look which is great.

Let's Predict Fashion's Future: Spring/Summer 2011

Trend #6 White!

This beautiful ensemble is by Dolce & Gabanna. These angelic dresses embellished with crystals are fit for a princess.

With white being such a neutral colour, it can be worn in different ways. Reed Krakoff went for a more urban and sporty look as compared to D&G's.
