Odd: Mario Balotelli

Mario Balotelli
Now how will this footballer even make it to a fashion blog you ask?
well he tried to anyway...

Probably taken inspiration from the penguin from Wallice&Gromit's , Mario Balotelli who was previously spotted with green and orange high tops with a neon-like blue quilted jacket, was found wearing a rather interesting hat.
Harvey Nichols-where the city's footballers are known to shop, denied selling this glove header number.
Perhaps it was from a Christmas market?

Well, a London based hand-knitting website picked up on this soon enough and offered to maker versions of this hat in 24 different colours! If anyone's interested to conform to this trend, you can get this hat from
www.granniesinc.co.uk

Looking forward to what else this guy would come up with.

British Fashion Awards fave winners

I am delighted with who won the awards last week at the British Fashion Awards. I have already mentioned one of the winners last week, the late Alexander Mcqueen who won the most Outstanding achievement in Fashion Design.

Here are 3 more of my faves that won last week.

2 lovely well known models walked away with awards from this year's British Fashion Awards.

They are, Lara Stone...

Lara Stone collected the Model Award. Well predictable as she's in almost everything.

and Naomi Campbell...

I am ever so pleased with Naomi Campbell's achievement. She won the Special Recognition award(this is a new award they've just added) as she's always been Britain's highly influential fashion ambassador for the last 25 years!

My(and the nation's) all time fashionista, probably the main trendsetter in England, won the British Style Award. No prizes for guessing, its none other than Alexa Chung!

Awesome one girlies!

Remember: Alexander Mcqueen

The AMAZING Alexander Mcqueen will never be forgotten in the fashion world. He was the 4th time winner of the British Designer of the Year award of the British Fashion Awards today. Most importantly, he won the most Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design this year which he deserved ever so much. He is one of my most favourite designers and when we spot a high street shop releasing collections similar to that of Alexander Mcqueen's, we will know where they got their inspiration from. Long live McQueen!
